The PADI Rescue Diver certification course is one of the most exciting scuba classes you will ever take, but it is also one of the most serious. Student divers learn to take responsibility and help others in need of assistance during this hands on course. Divers will take knowledge learned in regular first aid & CPR training and learn how to apply it in simulated emergency scenarios underwater and on the surface.

Divers take turns being rescuers and ‘survivors’ during this exciting class, be prepared to get physical, it is recommended participants are physically fit, able to lift & carry heavy objects.

Divers signing up for the class are required to use the PADI E-learning course. Once paid for you will receive registration instructions and the homework can be completed on computer or mobile device before the beginning of class. You will need to be present at SALT for at least 3 day sessions in the bay!


PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent age 15 +

PADI Medical Form signed by doctor

CPR / Emergency First Responder or First Aid Certification in good standing from eligible agency

(if you do not have current CPR & First Aid - you may add to cart and take the course with us. CPR / EFR class is usually an evening class the week before rescue class begins )
